Terms of Service

Scope
These terms apply to design and development projects, hosting accounts, business email services and domain registrations provided by Web Track. Individual quotations and service agreements take precedence where they differ.
Projects
Every project begins with a written scope, price and timeline. Work starts once the scope is approved and the deposit is received. Two rounds of design revision are included; further rounds are quoted separately. Timelines assume content and feedback are provided within the agreed windows.
Payments
Design projects are typically invoiced as a deposit on kick-off and the balance on launch. Hosting, email and domain services are invoiced yearly in advance. Services may be suspended if an invoice remains unpaid after written reminders.
Hosting acceptable use
Accounts may not be used for unlawful material, bulk unsolicited email, or activity that endangers server stability or other customers. We may suspend an account that is compromised or is being used for abuse, and we will inform you as soon as we can.
Domains
Domains are registered in the client's name. Renewal is the client's responsibility; we will send reminders and renew on instruction. Registry rules apply to all transfers and disputes.
Backups
We take daily backups as an operational safeguard and will restore on request where possible. Clients are encouraged to keep independent copies of critical data.
Intellectual property
On final payment, ownership of the delivered design and custom code for the project transfers to the client. Third-party components remain under their own licences.
Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
